I was first drawn to yoga in my teens and practised, rather erratically, through university and into my busy life in London after graduating . However, it was after the birth of my second child that I discovered classes with world-renowned teacher Katy Appleton, founder of appleyoga, which truly ignited my passion for yoga. Yoga classes helped me feel grounded and calm, my body became stronger and more toned, and my flexibility improved. Classes quickly became the highlight of my week and I began to practise at home and dive deeper into the vast world of yoga.

I have studied with Katy for over a decade and completed the appleyoga teacher training in 2012-2013. The appleyoga approach to Vinyasa Flow is an intelligent and transformational methodology which helps people to go deep into their practice with lightness and grace. It is biomechanically savvy, features key actions for empowerment and freedom in the body, and is grounded in principles of sequencing that allow people to soar in every class. Inspired by this I create alignment-focused classes that incorporate music, poetry and yoga philosophy to offer space and time for students to nurture their body, mind and spirit. I am certified by the Yoga Alliance in the UK and fully-insured. Since starting to teach in 2013 I have worked with a wide range of students who have come to yoga for numerous reasons. I love watching my students discover that yoga can offer them far more than they ever dreamed!

I practise yoga every day and have continued to deepen my study, qualifying in pre and post-natal yoga  with appleyoga in 2013. In addition I regularly attend workshops with leading teachers and enjoy sharing new inspiration with my students. I can honestly say I can't imagine my life without yoga and am passionate about sharing the benefits with others.
